Toshiba Opart MRI System

The Toshiba Opart MRI System combines superconducting performance with the advantages of open MR. This MRI system uses advanced technology features that provide unparallel image quality and ease of use so that fast and accurate results can be sped to the point of care for your patients. The Toshiba Opart has an open architecture for all-around patient access. The Opart serves the immediate needs of patients that may be large or claustrophobic that are unable to undergo exams in closed, tunnel like high-field MRI systems.

The Opart MRI system combines the economic advantages of open design with superconducting image quality and applications to maximize asset utilization for your clinic. The Toshiba Opart uses a cryogenless magnet design with the best mechanical stability and operating cost savings. It provides a range of coils for head-to-toe imaging capabilities. The Opart also features innovative technologies such as digital RP, high speed gradients and a broad range of optimized RF coils which support advanced MRI applications

Comprehensive Range of Clinical Applications
Most MRI exams/ clinical studies, including spine, brain, dynamic studies and abdominal small parts, can be conducted on the Toshiba Opart .35T Open MRI.
Advanced Clinical Applications
Many clinicians have found, using the Toshiba Opart .35T, that orthopedic exams and advanced sequences, such as Water-Fat-Separation, deliver diagnostic results comparable to, if not better than, those from high field MR systems.
High Image Quality
The Toshiba Opart .35T Open MRI offers excellent image quality, reliability, and consistency. The Toshiba Opart .35T Open MRI has been granted American College of Radiology accreditation.
A Solid Investment
Many have tested the Toshiba Opart .35T Open MRI scanner, only to find that it's a solid piece of equipment. The Opart .35T has been proven reliable, robust, comprehensive, comforting to
patients, and quick - ROI
Opart's Performance Features
The Toshiba Opart .35T features digital RP, high speed gradients, and a comprehensive range of RF coils supporting advanced clinical applications.
Pulse Sequences
Field Echo, Spin Echo, and Inversion Recovery
Scan Sequences
FastIR, FastSE, FastFLAIR, FastSTIR and FastFE.
FastASE - RF Refocused EPI
An advanced FastSE based sequence with a large number of echoes (maximum 213 ETL), combined with Half Fourier Imaging to reduce scan times by a factor of 384.
A single TR is all that is needed to generate multiple images in a few seconds.

Quadscan
QuadScan Advanced digital RF capabilities offer more precise phase control allowing simultaneous excitations of 4 slices while reducing excitations and minimizing RF power requirements.
The QuadScan system offers twice the SNR and 4 times the coverage for both SE and FE sequences.

MR Fluoroscopy
Images are continuously acquired and reconstructed then displayed in virtually real-time. Slice orientation, slice position, acquisition data read—out direction,
slice thickness, FOV, NAQ, TR and Flip angle may be varied interactively while scanning.

Real Time Locator
Real Time Locator is an advanced clinical application of MR fluoroscopy - This system acquires sagittal, axial, and coronal planes. Quick reconstruction and display of the data in
real-time facilitates greater patient positioning.
Vascular Imaging
Fine vascular structures are visualized with various innovative techniques such as 2D & 3D Time of flight and 2D & 3D Phase shift. Slice Selective off Resonance Sync Pulse (SORS—STC) and Inclined slab for Contrast Enhancement (ISCE) are available with 3D—TOF for reduced background signal and greater image quality. Maximum Intensity Projection can be performed while acquiring subsequent scans for greater productivity.

Advanced Fat Suppression
Various sequences are provided for uniform, fat suppression over an imaging area. Sequences include: IR, STIR, FastIR and FastSTIR.
